They're back! After a long hiatus the infamous Henfield peacocks are back to their former numbers. I think it's four boys and 2 girls, however they may be youngsters? They orginially came from a local farm, I think they escaped, and just took to wondering around the village.
Hector took a keen interest as they perused the front garden! He was strangely quiet for a dog that shouts at nothing, must have been very impressed with how one manged to get into the tree and started to nibble on the bird feed.
I'm not saying we're upmarket but the Henfield peacocks have been on local news and they have facebook page for support, due to them being threatened because of property damage, in gardens digging up and eating plants. They have had a stay of execution but to this date they must have a good lawyer!
